Chez Nine en Provence sur Roanne

We received a very warm welcome with our nine-month-old puppy. A big thank you for the hospitality. The chef's cuisine is flavorful and the ingredients are high quality. It was a pleasure to chat and joke with the team.

My wife and I came for lunch today. As for the food, we have absolutely no complaints: it was truly excellent. The ingredients are high-quality, the dishes are expertly prepared, and you can tell the real effort put into the cooking. The menu isn't cheap, perhaps a little pricey, but honestly, the quality is there. However, the service was less than ideal. The person who greeted us (a blonde woman of a certain age) was particularly cold, not a smile, and gave us a rather unpleasant feeling of being a bother. The atmosphere in the dining room seemed tense, which didn't exactly create a comfortable environment for fully enjoying the meal. In fact, we left quite quickly because of this. It's a shame, because the food is definitely worth the trip. With a warmer welcome, the experience would have been excellent from beginning to end.

Always a warm welcome and seasonal home cooking

The food and service were fine, no complaints. However, for almost €40 a meal, there's no cloakroom and only 20cm of privacy, which is a bit disappointing.

The setting is lovely, the atmosphere is warm, and the food is good without being fussy! Always a pleasure to go back!
