The hake fillet with sorrel was delicious. The fish and chips (cod) was also very good. Very fast service, very friendly staff.

Restaurant slightly off the beaten path with a lovely sea view. The service is quick and friendly. They offer a children's menu and don't push you to order more. Parking nearby or street parking opposite.

We've been going there for years and it's always just as lovely! With its sunny terrace sheltered from the wind and charming waitresses and waiters, Chez Patou is a Deauville institution, right across from the sea, for a top-notch beach restaurant. You have to book in the summer, it's packed!

I don't understand some of the reviews; personally, I highly recommend it! The service was fast considering the location, the staff were efficient and worked tirelessly to serve us, and the portions were generous and delicious. Thank you to the whole team, and enjoy your meal!

Chez Patou is located just past the Deauville boardwalk, away from the hustle and bustle. They serve simple, classic French brasserie fare: it's good, it's fresh, and the place is clean. The service is efficient and friendly. I recommend it and I'll be back!

A wonderful time at Chez Patou! Superb location right on the seafront, pleasant atmosphere, and warm service. The portions are generous and delicious. An ideal place to enjoy Deauville in complete relaxation. Highly recommended!

La peniche

14/05/2026: While looking for a restaurant, we stumbled upon La Péniche, where we enjoyed dinner while watching the sunset. The meal was delicious, and the seafood appetizer was a generous portion. We had a wonderful time.
