Very good food and very near beach atmosphere, we really enjoyed the quality of the meals and the location. However, one point made us uncomfortable: we were told that credit cards were “not working” and that we had to pay in cash, while at the same time we could clearly see other customers paying by card. The experience overall was pleasant, but this situation felt inconsistent and disappointing.

Very pleasantly surprised. We arrived as a family of three at 2:50 pm after driving around Trouville for 30 minutes looking for parking. We ended up here by chance and were very happy. We were welcomed immediately with a smile, served quickly, the food was delicious, and it was right on the beach – pure bliss. Thank you for everything, go without hesitation! We've been going there for years and it's always just as lovely! With its sunny terrace sheltered from the wind and charming waitresses and waiters, Chez Patou is a Deauville institution, right across from the sea, for a top-notch beach restaurant. You have to book in the summer, it's packed!

Restaurant slightly off the beaten path with a lovely sea view. The service is quick and friendly. They offer a children's menu and don't push you to order more. Parking nearby or street parking opposite.

11/06/2026: A wonderful culinary discovery! The setting is simple and pleasant. The staff is attentive and responsive. The dishes are generous and beautifully presented. You can tell everything is fresh. The atmosphere was friendly... A place to recommend.
08/06/2026: The food was excellent, but the service was a bit lacking. Wine was served before the cocktails, and appetizers were served just after the cocktails – the waiter didn't understand our surprise. We had to ask for cutlery only after our main course had been served.

The food stays hot and is delicious. It's a real plus for us to be able to offer our team a high-quality meal. The portions are generous.
