The welcome couldn't be warmer; Mr. Paul has a great sense of humor! We were here last year, and the lamb shank was practically calling our name! The food is home-style, as is the atmosphere—nothing like the seaside restaurants that cater to hordes of tourists. Here, you're made to feel right at home. A MUST-TRY!!!

Fantastic restaurant where we stopped after a short hike. Everything was delicious, we really enjoyed it!! The service was also very welcoming; it's definitely THE restaurant to visit if you're in the area!

We loved the view, the service, and the local products!! A great place to relax after our morning walk! We highly recommend it… the little myrtle wine and the local charcuterie were superb!!!

Chalet du Val d'Ese

09/08/2026: After the beautiful hike to the wells, we stopped at this summer bar! We ate crepes and drank cold drinks, all served by two talented and kind ladies. I recommend stopping by; there's nothing else in the area and the friendliness is paramount! Excellent
19/07/2026: Charming chalet at the foot of the ski slopes and the starting point for the hike to the Pozzi. The young manager (owner?) is welcoming, friendly, and attentive, as are the young women who help him with the service. The cheese omelet is generous, and the zucchini fritters are delicious! Thank you for your hospitality!
