On July 29, 2026, we celebrated our son's birthday at Chez Paul, it was fantastic! We ate very well; the lamb shanks were a delight, perfectly cooked and seasoned. The platter of Corsican charcuterie is worth a visit to the restaurant, and my wife loved the cheese cannelloni. All of this was accompanied by a very pleasant local rosé wine. I will remember this meal with friends for a long time. If you come to Ajaccio, I recommend visiting the peaceful haven of Bastelica, a very typical traditional Corsican village with breathtaking views. And ending the day at Chez Paul...

Excellent and very generous portions! The lady serving was incredibly kind, and everything is homemade by her mother and grandmother! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal! Corsican charcuterie from the village, veal stew, and cannelloni that were simply divine, and for dessert, a truly surprising chestnut mousse! Go without hesitation. Bonus: the view of the village from the terrace 🤩

We arrived at 6:30 pm and received a very warm welcome. The hostess was always around and very attentive. The food was simply superb. A thoroughly enjoyable evening. The chestnut purée is highly recommended.

Lunch at this small village restaurant where we received a wonderfully warm welcome. The meal consisted of a beautiful and succulent charcuterie platter, a veal stew with beans cooked with bacon and porcini mushrooms that was absolutely divine, a homemade fruit salad, and a red berry panna cotta. Excellent home-style cooking served in generous portions. You leave this restaurant with a full stomach and stars in your eyes.

You'll discover Corsica, a warm welcome from the daughter, the kindness of the father, the €35 menu, the charcuterie starter a delight, for some the very good veal sauté, for me the succulent grandmother's cannelloni, go there, the road is winding but it's worth the trip

That day, we hadn't planned on eating at a restaurant… and in the end, we absolutely don't regret our choice!
We were greeted with a smile and received pleasant, attentive, and professional service.
Everything on the plate was excellent: generous and flavorful homemade dishes, prepared with high-quality ingredients. A wonderful discovery that made our visit to the charming village of Bastelica even more enjoyable.
