We celebrated the birthdays of two of our grandchildren. I ordered the octopus as a starter: delicious! My husband and sister-in-law thoroughly enjoyed the frog legs.

The place has just changed hands, it's beautiful, renovated, and has a festive atmosphere. The food is excellent. Bring on summer!

The promise of chic was made, but upon arriving at the parking lot, two chrome Dodge Rams stand guard. Elegance has clearly taken a different route. At the table, the story becomes more complicated. Of five suggestions, two are absent—a menu that falls apart from the moment it opens is an admission. The old Toque Blanche spirit has evaporated: the food nourishes, but it doesn't inspire. Nothing is wrong, but nothing is right either. You eat, you forget. The promised renovations? Invisible. Same decor, same atmosphere, as if the “new chapter” had only been written on the back cover. The service, finally, is tentative: polite, willing, but hesitant. And chic doesn't tolerate uncertainty. Chez Paul’O isn't a failure, it's indecisive. Between yesterday's casual eatery and tomorrow's showcase, the place is still searching for its identity. For now, marketing speaks louder than cooking — and the motors (of the hand dryer) louder than memory.
