Chez Pistache sur Perigueux

The welcome is warm and the setting very pleasant. The menu offers a good selection of dishes, with the option to customize your filling, which is a nice touch. A few points for improvement: The back room lacks light and feels a bit cramped. It's a shame, because the space could be more inviting. On the plate, the fillings don't always seem to live up to the crêpes (canned vegetables?), which is disappointing for a crêperie in the city center. The hot drinks, like the Viennese hot chocolate, taste diluted, as if they've been watered down. As for the orange juice, served half-full with four ice cubes, one can easily imagine what it would be like without them…it's a pity.

For us fans of savory and/or sweet galettes and filled crêpes, Crêpes & Dentelles is THE crêperie not to be missed in the heart of Périgueux. The crêpes are delicious, generous, and served with a welcome side salad. A delight and impeccable service every time! As I'm gluten intolerant, I have no problem with the savory buckwheat galettes, and for dessert, I also order a buckwheat crêpe instead of wheat flour. My request is always well received and respected. The menu offers a wide selection of galettes, plus the daily special. Doris, when she's not busy in the kitchen with her team, always greets you warmly. The service reflects Doris's personality: friendly, attentive, helpful, and quick. Eating inside in winter is a pleasant experience because the place is small but very cozy. In the summer, the experience is even more enjoyable thanks to the terrace located on a popular and charming pedestrian street in Périgueux. We love this crêperie and the whole team. The galettes were very good, except that of the two I ordered, one was nice and crispy, but the other was too soft and not worth the extra price. Don't be in a hurry, the service is very, very slow... and without a smile.

Very good crêperie, well decorated, very clean. Very generous crêpes and very good, both savory and sweet. This is the second time we've been there each year during our stay in Périgueux. It's a shame it's closed on Sundays, like many restaurants in the provinces... in the Paris region, everything is open on Sundays 🤷‍♀️

I think one was Nutella and the other was chestnut cream, and two good infusions, all delicious in a calm and relaxed atmosphere.
