I stayed one night in this hotel after my car broke down and was in the garage. The owners are discreet people, and I had the opportunity to chat with the lady of the house, who is very charming. My impression of the hotel is that it's an old building that has been restored over the years. Personally, I was very surprised by the small decorative touches in the room, which added a warm feel. The bathroom was functional and very clean. The breakfast was plentiful with a good selection. I think that when booking a 1-star hotel, one should be polite enough to understand that some of the comforts of a 4- or 5-star hotel won't be there, and above all, respect that it's an old building and not a new one. So, kudos to the owners for keeping their business going and continuing to welcome guests. It's a place with a history.
No problems with the booking or check-in. Regarding our room (triple), the bathroom/toilet was open to the bedroom (the wall didn't reach the ceiling), which was rather inconvenient. Cleanliness was fine. The room is very old with an uneven floor and poor insulation (the double glazing was very good). The air conditioning was perfect. Breakfast was good.
