My first experience with two other couples. The welcome was pleasant and friendly. We hadn't reserved a table on a Saturday night and were seated inside but not on the terrace. It didn't spoil our meal 😉

Quick service, friendly and attentive staff, clean and pleasant restrooms. The meat was excellent, and the portion was generous. The restaurant's interior is cozy, and we had a view into the kitchens. I highly recommend it if you're in Hyères.

Great food, including gluten-free options! Very friendly service! The restaurant also has outdoor seating on the pedestrianized Place de la Republique. It was a wonderful experience among locals.

When you look at a menu with basic French, you don't see pizza, pasta, burgers, and the like, and from the descriptions of the dishes, you only understand the basics: foie gras, prawns, beef... that's because there's complexity there. And often, the difference lies in that complexity. And indeed, there was complexity. The foie gras, with a presentation worthy of the main course, was a work of art—color, aroma, flavor. The prawns, stewed with basmati rice and spices we couldn't identify, were excellent, and again, the interplay of colors was stunning. The beef, sliced ​​into tender rolls, was accompanied by mushrooms and a delicate, flavorful sauce. And a local white wine recommended by the waiter was truly good. The service was friendly and very professional. The terrace was in a splendid, historic, and peaceful square. The price was reasonable. And all of this... without speaking French well. You just have to intuit what's in front of you.

With friends, a truly successful first visit. First, the warm and welcoming atmosphere. We were seated outside. It was quite peaceful. Finally, the choice of appetizers, set menu or à la carte options, starters, main courses, and desserts was excellent.
