Excellent food, tasty and generously topped pizzas, friendly service in the kitchen and dining room, and very reasonable order and preparation times. A regular stop in this pretty village, unfortunately marred by the aggression of the municipal employee who verbally assaults camper van owners who park as best they can in the parking lot, all in the name of... keeping local businesses afloat. This public servant needs to be reminded that he must respect his duty of neutrality and discretion, of respect and courtesy towards tourists, instead of targeting them in such a particularly vehement and insulting manner. A report has been filed with the town hall. Our gratitude to the shopkeepers of Thuyets.

Well, what can I say about this? The portions and quality I saw passing by were incredible. We only went for a pizza, which was very well topped and tasted great. The tables next to us had salads and a burger. Very tasty and neatly presented on large plates. I’ve never struck up a conversation with a French person so quickly :-) If you’re in the area and you’re hungry, just slam on the brakes and sit down. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to take more photos this time.

At Sylvain's, it's a bit like finding a good Alsatian winstub... but in the Ardèche! ❤️ The cuisine is generous, authentic, and above all, excellent, giving the impression that the dishes have been lovingly prepared by the family chef. The ingredients are expertly handled, the plates are flavorful, and there's a genuine desire to please. I've also read some comments criticizing Sylvain for sometimes turning customers away. Personally, I much prefer a restaurateur who knows how to say "no" when they know they won't be able to properly serve their customers, rather than an establishment that accepts everyone and ends up sacrificing quality, the wait, and the experience. A restaurant isn't a factory: a few fewer tables and top-notch cuisine are better than trying to fill them at all costs and disappointing everyone. So, to those who criticize this approach: before judging, perhaps you should simply try to understand the philosophy. At Sylvain's, you come to eat well, not to be treated like a number. Personally, I recommend it without hesitation. A lovely spot in the Ardèche region where you'll find what makes a good restaurant so charming: simplicity, generosity, and quality. 👏🍽️

A quick stop on our way to our holiday destination. Simple but hearty daily special, very good pizza. Very fast and friendly service. Perfect.

Excellent place, great pizza, and they also offer special evenings (mussels and fries, etc.). Fast and efficient service, top-notch welcome and staff as always.

We enjoyed our meal, and the dishes were truly delicious and reasonably priced. However, we were disappointed by the welcome and service. The waiters and waitress were particularly unpleasant and unfriendly, which unfortunately spoiled part of our experience. It's a shame, because the food itself was excellent. A little more smiles, friendliness, and consideration for the customers would really make a difference.

We had a good meal for a reasonable price. The waiters and waitresses did a great job, keeping a smile on their faces despite the pressure caused by the terrace being partially unusable due to the storm.

We came for ice cream with a little gift thrown in. They were very good. As for the food, I don't know, I haven't tried it yet.
