Everything was closed nearby, we were visiting the Meisenthal glassworks, and we found this restaurant. Inexpensive and very good, I highly recommend it, and the staff were very friendly.
It's been a long time since I stopped at a restaurant like this on a whim, and I certainly wasn't disappointed.
The staff were welcoming and smiling.
The set menu (starter, main course, dessert) was excellent.
The food was very good, and the portions were generous!

Here, you'll find friendly service in a pleasant setting. The daily special was generous. Unfortunately, the potatoes weren't all cooked through, and the liver dumpling could have used a bit more salt. The tart for dessert wasn't particularly satisfying in terms of flavor. It lacked a bit of sugar. However, since everything was very reasonably priced, the quality was acceptable. If you don't have too many demands, you'll get your money's worth here at a good price.
01/11/2025: Always so good and welcoming, with regulars letting the kitchen know about our late arrival for lunch. A top-notch self-service spot by the roadside between Lemberg and Goetzenbruck. A warm welcome from both the other diners and the restaurant staff.
The service is excellent for coffee, with someone available to help with self-service. There's a good selection and freshness, and the dishes are tasty and simple. Quality and price, speed, and coffee (long or short) served at the table.
A big thank you for your hospitality and that of your guests. We were turned away from the restaurant in the center of the same village, where we seemed like oddities who didn't belong, having not made a reservation. YOUR roadside restaurant has become our go-to spot. Those who use your catering service in the area must surely be delighted with your food.
