While on holiday in a nearby gîte, our host recommended this restaurant, specifying that it was best to book in advance. We understood why! A family-run restaurant in a pleasant setting, excellent and generous home-style cooking at a very reasonable price, quick and friendly service, a great atmosphere – everything was perfect for us during our visit to the Ariège region.
In addition, a leisurely stroll allowed us to visit an interesting village!

For several years now, this has been our go-to stop whenever we're in the area. The menus are varied, the staff are professional and attentive, and the food is good and tasty. Excellent value for money.

Like a Sunday at our grandmother's: the meal begins with a delicious pot-au-feu broth soup (even in 30°C heat). The dishes are delicious, made with local produce. And the service is very pleasant and friendly.

A lovely family meal in an authentic and welcoming setting.
The young waitress was incredibly friendly, pleasant, and kind. The meal began with a delicious homemade soup, generous portions of bread and Gruyère cheese :) The main courses were hearty and flavorful. A wonderful discovery for my parents and me; we'll definitely be back!

A bistro where onion soup reigns supreme.
It's included in every set menu and can even be added to an à la carte dish for the same price.
€42 for a bavette steak (4cm thick) and duck breast with chanterelles, served with homemade fries, salad, and carrots.
Also includes two half-pints of beer and two coffees.
All served with kindness and the courtesy to reheat any dish you're struggling to finish.
Take a break on your journey to Lourdes...

What can I say about this restaurant? The service is efficient, fast, and always with a smile.
The dishes (see attached photos) are generous, perfectly seasoned, and well-balanced, offering excellent value for money.
This establishment is definitely worth a visit.
You can go there without hesitation! 🙂
