02/05/2026: This lunchtime on January 16th, we returned to Les Pins, a restaurant we used to love, but which, before the change of ownership, had left us a little disappointed. We wish the new owners continued success and hope they continue to provide us with the same satisfaction we experienced at lunchtime today. The price of the set menu is attractive, and, increasingly rare these days, it includes both wine and coffee. The salt cod brandade was exquisite, generous, and well-seasoned. We saw dishes from the à la carte menu that will entice us to return for more delicious meals. The beautifully renovated dining room allows you to enjoy the somewhat loud music from the bands; we will return to try the terrace, confident of a good meal. We will also return to listen to Daniel and his talent if you manage to keep him as a regular! Best of luck and see you soon. At the end of March 2026, we returned to listen to Daniel, whose lively piano playing is a real bonus. Talented and approachable, he is a pleasure to listen to, and we will be back. The food and service were excellent. In a spirit of constructive dialogue, we pointed out to the owners that at a certain price and standard, it was necessary to offer cloth tablecloths and real napkins. For a comparable price point, La Trattoria in Biarritz and Atalaia in Irun demonstrate that kraft paper placemats and paper napkins are unacceptable. The overall renovations are of good quality, particularly the restrooms, which will be refreshingly cool in the summer! We wondered about the bull rib, which was probably delicious but deserved some explanation regarding its origin and its unrelated connection to the "t'emportas" served at the Bayonne bullring! The wine carafe service ends on Friday evenings! Beer and aperitifs remain at the same price, which I find rather disappointing! We will gladly follow the ongoing improvements that are taking shape and should be expanded. We had previously considered it a good idea to keep an eye on the progress of this recently reopened restaurant. We enjoyed another lunch there on May 1st, to our great satisfaction. The renovations and improvements are very well done and retain the friendly, inn-like atmosphere. We savored an excellent foie gras. A little tired from a huge flea market, we wanted to share a piece of beef, and instead we were treated to a beautiful, very flavorful, and perfectly cooked ribeye. The accompanying gratin dauphinois was delicious. Our appetites were sorely disappointed that we took home some to continue enjoying the meal. Service is available until 2:30 pm. The young waitresses and one waiter are quick and efficient. The prices are currently attractive, pets are welcome, and refreshments are available for them! The mistake with our order resulted in a discount on our drinks, demonstrating that beyond their high level of professionalism, there is also great kindness towards their customers. We highly recommend it.
01/05/2026: We had a wonderful time together.
The food was excellent, everything was delicious! Special mention goes to the "crispy shrimp" salad, which was absolutely incredible, flavorful, and generous.
The waitresses were extremely kind, welcoming, and attentive, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
We left delighted and will cherish the memory of this place.
We will gladly return!
We highly recommend this restaurant!
