Saturday evening dinner in September. Very good time, a house that I have appreciated for many years.

Très belle cuisine d'Arnaud Chilo qui allie esthétique,saveur basque et générosité.Carte des vins très abordable et qui recèle quelques pépites locales en irouleguy blanc. Personnel très sympathique mais avec une marge de progression pour être à la hauteur de la cuisine. Petit déjeuner en revanche décevant par des produits sans caractère à l'exception des yaourts maison qui sont sublimes.

We came for dinner two years ago and decided to come back for a short stay, so seduced by the quality of the cuisine, the service and the exceptional panorama. Everything is always perfect, the kindness of the hostess and the attention to satisfy us are simply wonderful. Everything is always possible here, which can be nice when you have little vacation time. These two days are worth ten because we rested and were pampered. And this swimming pool, superb, what relaxation surrounded by this green nature, a real painting. If you are in the region, don't hesitate, this is the place to put your bags! Thank you to the entire Chilo team for their professionalism, we feel at home.

Nouveau passage dans ce restaurant qui est fidèle à sa réputation. Tout d’abord accueil très agréable de la part de la jeune propriétaire avec qui nous avons longuement discuté. Le repas en 6 plats gastronomiques est succulent. Les associations sont parfaites. C’est une très bonne cuisine pleine de saveurs accompagnée de bons vins. Produits frais et locaux. Tout est fait maison (même le pain). Nous avons eu le plaisir de discuter à l’issue avec le chef Arnaud qui a fait le tour des tables et nous a fait partager sa passion pour la cuisine. Nuit à l’hôtel ensuite qui est dans le bâtiment principal au charme d’une demeure ancienne très agréable. Prestation de très bonne qualité avec une chambre au goût du jour et des prestations de qualité ( très bonne literie). Au matin petit déjeuner continental avec du sucré/salé, des viennoiseries, salade de fruits, yaourt, œufs, jambon…….. Il y en a pour tous les goûts et en quantité. Vraiment un très bon établissement dont la renommée n’est plus à faire. Félicitations aux enfants qui ont repris l’activité en janvier sous l’œil attentif des parents. Une très belle famille ravie de recevoir ses clients. Allez y découvrir les charmes du pays basque. Nous nous y reviendrons.

Truly a very good establishment whose reputation is well established. Congratulations to the children who resumed activity in January under the watchful eye of parents. A very nice family delighted to welcome their customers. Go there and discover the charms of the Basque country. We'll come back to that.

Good experience at the restaurant. Simple but refined cuisine. Pleasant service. The only downside is that, being a vegetarian, I had notified these details three weeks in advance when booking. When I came, I was not able to eat any appetizers. And I was kindly informed that I would only have a plate of vegetables as a main course (fortunately everything was still tasty)…

Everything about this “gem” just fits - we can only recommend it!!!!
