We so enjoyed our dinner tonight. The food, wine, aperitifs were wonderful. Our server made us feel so comfortable. Se magnifique! Merci!

We just returned from our trip to France and had to comment on our excellent experience at Le Coupe-Chou. Our server Lilou was outstanding and a joy to meet. Lilou helped us with the menu and she even gave us a tour of this unique restaurant. Food and wine were delicious! Next trip to Paris and we'll be visiting Le Coupe-Chou again for sure!

My family has been to Le Coupe Chou several times and we snagged a reservation during our most recent trip to Paris. This time our experience was very frustrating. The atmosphere is so charming, and our food was delicious… once it arrived. It was 30 minutes after our reservation that we were asked about drinks. More lengthy time elapsed before our appetizers were ordered. An hour after we got there they were served (time stamp on photos). 45 minutes after that, our main course came out. Dessert was served a whopping 2.25 hours after we got there. When it was all said and done, we were there almost 3 hours for three courses. The problem seemed to be that the restaurant was woefully understaffed on a Saturday night for a completely full house. Our server was pleasant but she had too many tables, probably 10 in our section and who knows how many others. Plus she was having to set up other tables, pour waters (we had to wait on water for long stretches), look for available menus so we could order, and other jobs that IMO, support staff should be hired to do. I could tell she was also frustrated with all the responsibilities she had. Yes, I’d go back, but I’d choose a much earlier time on a week night. Hopefully management reads reviews and can plan for more staff for busy evenings.

What a memorable meal. I went with my 4 other family members, and we all were so impressed with the history of the building, the service, and most especially the food. The Foie Gras and the Duck were decadent and delicious. Our waitress made excellent suggestions, and we're so glad she guided us on some additional selections. HIGHLY recommend.

Comfortable, classic Parisian atmosphere. Wonderful food, service and atmosphere. Order the main plate, Tuna. Delicious. Mushroom entree was very good. An elegant feel but not pretentious restaurant to sit and enjoy the food, the wine and being in Paris. Highly recommended.

We had early reservation at 6:45 and sat upstairs by ourselves most of the meal, so it was so quiet. The downside with the upstairs room was the heatwave we are currently having — it was pretty warm in the room. The food was flavorful- we shared the octopus salad, I had the tuna (very good) and my wife had the hanger steak - good, but some chewy bits. The waitress was very attentive and explained the menu and wine well.

We sat outside and had escargot to start, my partner had the duck and I had the beef filet and we couldn’t manage a dessert. The food was excellent! To drink we had the only bottle of champagne on the menu; Alain Navarre, which was pleasant. We chose here as it was 2mins walk from our hotel but would recommend the restaurant 100%. In addition the waitress was fabulous!

We were lucky enough to be invited to a group meal in a private room in this historic restaurant. The food and service were very professional. I was glad I ordered a green salad with my main meal as otherwise wouldn't have had any vegetables. But others didn't mind that.

The meal was beautifully prepared! We had not intended to order an entree, but when my wife read about quinoa and green lentils, she just had to try it…and I’m glad she shared! She had the pork tenderloin and I had the duck breast. We also shared the Floating Island dessert. Nice presentation on all of the dishes. Our youngish bejeweled waiter was attentive and one of the best we’ve had in Paris…I’m sorry his name escapes me.
