The menu might seem a bit pricey, but you'll quickly realize you get your money's worth: delicious, generous cuisine enhanced by a unique concept: cooking with Uncle Jack Daniels! The dining room is very small, allowing for attentive service, so reservations are highly recommended. But it's definitely a culinary experience worth the trip! The waitress is fantastic, very efficient, and the dishes arrive quickly! The chef is clearly very skilled and has a wonderfully refined touch! The prices are very reasonable; they're not at all excessive for the quality of the food! The owner is incredibly kind.

They serve delicious African cuisine, and you'll be treated like royalty. The owner is a wonderful, passionate person. It took me a while to get here; my girlfriend dragged me. It's become my favorite restaurant in Montpellier. Everything is homemade. Go without hesitation; I promise you'll be won over! Mikael and Charlotte ❤️

The open kitchens add a real dimension to the experience and allow you to see the team at work. The menu showcases numerous combinations of Mediterranean flavors. A particular favorite was the first course featuring asparagus, as well as the dessert combining chocolate, caramel, and black olives—an original and delicious combination. A wonderful discovery at this Michelin-starred restaurant in Montpellier.

18/07/2026: First, the place itself, which looks unassuming from the outside, is magical, especially the corridor leading to the dining room. Immerse yourself in the culinary world of the master chef Guillaume Leclere. His cuisine is inventive and uses seasonal and local ingredients. Some combinations might seem surprising or even shocking on paper, but they are simply brilliant. Currently, monkfish with Paimpol coconut cappuccino and sand with apricot are simply divine. I highly recommend this culinary journey into Leclere's universe.

03/08/2026: Pastis is one of those restaurants where you arrive with high expectations, and you quickly understand why. The service is perfectly honed, the cuisine is technically accomplished, elegant, and showcases the ingredients without being flashy. We opted for the €83 tasting menu. The value for money seemed reasonable, and the dessert was, in my opinion, the highlight of the meal. However, I missed that special dish that immediately makes you want to return. Special mention goes to the wine cellar, which is particularly extensive, although a few more recommendations to complement the wine selection would have been appreciated. I also felt that the bread sometimes took up a bit too much space as the meal progressed. In the end, an elegant, expertly prepared experience, brimming with skill. It simply lacked that little something extra that transforms a very good meal into a truly memorable experience.
