22/04/2026: If you have the chance to dine at Pat Daniels, you'll fall in love with the restaurant, more specifically with the lovingly prepared food and the Jack Daniel's. The unique feature of this place is the Jack Daniel's influence, from cocktails and drinks to everything from appetizers to desserts... There were six of us, and the set menu was €37, or you can order à la carte. For our starter, we had the foie gras terrine, followed by the lamb shank, and for dessert, the chocolate ganache. The dishes were smooth and delicious. The gingerbread that accompanied the foie gras was truly divine; seriously, I'm not usually a big fan of gingerbread, but I could have easily eaten more slices. The main course was cooked to perfection, and the sauce was so good you'd want to put the plate down. The chocolate raspberry ganache for dessert was incredibly smooth and just the right amount of sweet. The owner is incredibly attentive to his customers; his presentation is captivating, and we wanted more. You'll feel right at home there, and time will fly by. I highly recommend this restaurant; we drove an hour just to eat there. However, be aware that it's only open Monday through Friday, and only in the evenings. It's best to make a reservation if you want an exceptional culinary experience. Thanks to Pat for this moment that suspended time and delighted our taste buds.

23/04/2026: We had a fabulous lunch with excellent service! The roasted pork was delicious and duck scrumptious. House wine was very good. The chocolate fondant was one of the best desserts ever. Highly recommend!

19/04/2026: Visited earlier this month and we had a blast. The staff member that greeted us was excited to have an opportunity to practice his English (but more likely didn’t want us to continue to butcher French). We had excellent meals here, and a super fab bottle of wine ! Food was great, service was wonderful, and a great atmosphere (especially sitting outside overlooking the little square)

09/04/2026: Living up to its reputation, this is undoubtedly one of the best restaurants in Montpellier. The cuisine is both surprising and perfectly conceived, each dish demonstrating great skill and genuine creativity. The wine pairing was exceptional, offering excellent value for money at this level of service. The atmosphere, both chic and relaxed, along with the thoughtful touches (it was our wedding anniversary), made the experience even more enjoyable. Special mention goes to the veal dish. We had a wonderful time and will gladly return.

25/04/2026: We had an overall decent experience at this Argentine empanada spot. The empanadas themselves were decent in taste, and each one costs around €4. The size is fair (not especially big, but not too small either) so they work well for a quick bite. Overall, it’s a fine place if you’re looking for something fast and simple, but probably not the best option for a full meal.

04/05/2026: We had an amazing lunch here on a rainy Monday - so sat inside. The food, wine and friendly service were all 10/10. We could have happily ordered most of the menu but settled for the Special Burger and Pork Belly - which were both fantastic and full of flavour. I would highly recommend this fantastic French bistro restaurant. Served by lovely people too - thank you!

16/03/2026: Words cannot adequately describe the pleasure my partner and I get from going to Puja. The welcome is always warm and personalized, regardless of who greets us. The food is very affordable, and what's more, it's delicious and plentiful. A real treat. If a reference to the city of Montpellier isn't associated with a recommendation of Puja, I consider it an insult. I highly recommend this restaurant and its entire team.
