Chouchou Bar Guinguette sur Paris

23/09/2024: A traditional French bistrot serving outstandingly good food. We happened upon it by pure chance, and it was a real act of serendipity. A genuinely warm welcome by the waiter, with an extremely sweet smile, and an almost musical delivery of French (he did not bat an eyelid about our limited knowledge of French). He not only made sure we were seated comfortably, but gave us some good and useful advice about the menu. I followed his advice, and I certainly did not regret my choice of both entree and plat. Both were well-cooked, plated and tasted really divine. We very highly recommend this bistrot. The bill was very reasonable, especially considering that this was Paris, and we were so pleased with our experience. At the end, I made it a point to ask the waiter for his name, because I was so favorably impressed by his friendly service. Bravo et merci, M. Jean Pascale! Vous etait tres gentil! We really appreciated the food and your friendly advice.

03/09/2024: Belle brasserie avec viandes marinées excellentes. Le plat de Tibre (boeuf mariné) était cuit parfaitement. La sauce qui l’accompagnait toutefois était un peu décevante. Le tartare de boeuf avait une portion généreuse et était accompagné d’une belle salade de verdures et de frites, malheureusement servies tièdes.
