Chouga Barrio sur Lille

A true gem in Lille! Chouga Barrio is much more than just a bar: it's a lively, warm, and welcoming place where you quickly feel at ease. You can have fun while feeling safe, which is especially appreciated. It's a great spot for lovers of music, dancing, karaoke, and authentic atmospheres. The energy of the place is contagious, and every night makes you want to come back. Special mention goes to the homemade drinks, and especially the bissap: absolutely incomparable to any I've tasted elsewhere! Without exaggeration, it's the best bissap I've had in a bar in Lille to date. It's perfectly prepared, delicious, and truly unique. The manager is funny, respectful, and very welcoming. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for good music, delicious drinks, a friendly atmosphere, and a fun, laid-back vibe. Chouga Barrio truly deserves to be discovered and rediscovered! 🌺🎶💃

The kitchen is only rarely open, and this needs to be addressed because it's excellent; a karaoke and fun place ideally located, 10/10

Fun events despite the limited space in the basement. However, I don't go there anymore because of a bad experience; some customers at Chouga decided to fight. Update: It was a while ago at the Rugrats event. A dark-skinned man with dark glasses and a Hawaiian shirt—I think he was a regular—was there. At the end of the evening, he was throwing alcohol at passing cars, and he also threw some at my friends, so yes, this fight did happen. One of my friends said she had already seen this guy at Chouga and that he often did this to start a fight.
