A great time during our vacation thank you Excellent welcome, explanations and remarkable availability. If I dared I would recommend but might as well leave it not too well known

Our visit dates back to the August holidays when we had not thought of booking on the terrace. Despite this, the team went out of their way to seat us first inside and then outside. A big thank you for the good atmosphere, the tasty dishes and the choice of local wine. We didn't like the cider at all as it's very special but everything else was great.

Superb spot. Careful welcome, excellent service, festive atmosphere, ideal with friends. I can only advise.

Superb, I was blown away by cider

This restaurant is full of surprises, the friendly welcome and the very pleasant setting. If you haven't made a reservation for me, and I strongly advise you to do so, you can have a drink while waiting for a table to be found. At the back of the room you will see a wine cellar. If you like this, you can leave with a bottle because they are on sale. The cider house menu is a treat, whether it’s the cod omelette or the prime rib. I highly recommend this festive address for a good meal with friends or lovers...

Very good meat, hearty meal. But the noise inside (large common room without opening or soundproofing) is such that we just wanted to leave the place after having dinner. A word of advice: Book outside if you can't stand very noisy rooms. We were told to come well before the service if we wanted to have an aperitif, which we did but we thought we would be seated at our table and be able to start drinking cider since it is unlimited, while waiting for the service. In fact the The dining room only opens at a specific time for everyone and the aperitif is at the bar and subject to payment. This point was not clear at the time of booking and it was with a certain nonchalance that we were entitled to an explanation. from the boss.

S’il avait fallu noter l’équipe du service ce serait un 4 voire 5 sans hésiter ,,,, mais négocier pour remplacer le fromage de brebis, proposé dans le menu, par un dessert au même prix ou moins,à la carte, pour éviter le supplément de 3€ est une première pour nous . Quant à la 1/2 côte de bœuf , à la cuisson nickel , était tout simplement presque immangeable de part la quantité de sel , idem pour les frites . Dommage .

We ate here two years ago and returned again this year while on vacation. We had the cote du boeuf, frites, and salade. The meat was perfect and mouthwatering rare. The cidery is a traditional Basque setting complete with large cider barrels for freehand pouring. Take your time and enjoy your food (these are large servings) and drink and atmosphere. There is a parking lot across the street by the cemetery at no charge. Expect to spend $28-38+ per person.
