The setting was lovely, and the welcome was excellent. Personally, I think the cod omelet could have been a touch more flavorful, and the txulet (a type of sausage) a bit more mature. As for the welcome and service, it was perfect.

A cider house with a tavern-like atmosphere where you'll receive a warm welcome! Quality meat served in generous portions. They'll even serve you cider straight from the barrel!

This is really a place for locals, but the welcome provided to two people with execrable French was warm and accommodating. The steak was enormous, quite rare, and pretty much the Platonic ideal of steak. The service was excellent, and prices were quite reasonable.
