Cinderella sur Santa-Maria-Poggio

We go there with friends every time we come to Corsica... and every time, we're never disappointed. Most recently, last week, we had veal steak... exquisite, perfectly cooked, superb flavor. The cozy winter atmosphere is lovely, very inviting. Next time we'll try it in the summer with the terrace. As for the price, for five people with a main course each, plus dessert, coffee, and wine, I didn't find it excessive considering the quality, especially compared to other restaurants. Highly recommended! 👍👍

Fantastic restaurant! The setting is sublime and the cuisine is excellent and refined. Visited on Thursday evening, April 16, 2026. Special mention goes to the two servers who were on duty during service and were absolutely top-notch, efficient, and always smiling despite the incredibly busy atmosphere! The manager can be very proud of his team!

March 2026 Never two without three, we promised to come back for a bite to eat while out for a stroll, and we did. We changed our habits a bit and tried something new, at least my wife did. Once again, the food and the quantity were excellent; we thoroughly enjoyed it. So, a big thank you to the chef and also to the very pleasant waiter. Where I did grit my teeth a little was the bill. There were two of us, we didn't go overboard, but we still left with a bill of over €100. When I see a glass of Muscat wine at €8.50 or an espresso at €2.50, I'm still surprised, even if some items have gone up in price. And I must admit I was a little disappointed once again, because following my last visit, we discussed the coffee, which is no longer offered but replaced by the homemade tapenade served at the beginning, or, as you mentioned, the systematic and complimentary offer of a digestif. Well, not only did I pay €2.50 for the coffee, which wasn't offered on a bill of over €100, but the digestif wasn't offered to anyone, neither my wife nor myself. Again, it's not the fact that it was offered, as I would have paid for it too, but it's the customer service and local touch that's being lost... Even though, as I said, you offer tapenade as a starter... But I would have liked to finish my meal with a small liqueur or something similar. Instead, we were cleared by another person without a word, which is a real shame. So, a little disappointed, both because of that and the price. We'd been wanting to eat here for a while, but we were waiting until the summer season was well underway so we could enjoy it more, being locals. Despite this, it was still very busy, but just as pleasant, especially outside, with a lovely atmosphere and decor. As for the service, everyone was pleasant, and that's the best part. As for the food, it was consistently excellent, made with quality ingredients. We ordered several dishes, all of them high-quality, and finished on a high note with the desserts. From the aperitif to the after-dinner drink and coffee, everything went very smoothly and was delicious. If I had to offer one small criticism, it would be that with a hefty bill and a full meal (which is to be expected), it's always appreciated, especially in our culture, to at least offer coffee. It's a small gesture that's always appreciated, and it's becoming a rare custom. But that's really the only thing that left a slightly bitter taste. It's not about the price of the coffee, even though it has gone up, but it's the gesture itself. 😉 Many island restaurants no longer offer coffee or an after-dinner drink either. We were very pleasantly surprised by the place and the delicious food. As locals, we had heard about it but hadn't been. The atmosphere was great, with quite a few people for a weekday at the end of October. We were seated outside in the non-smoking area. Unfortunately, a table next to us was smoking quite a bit, which bothered us a lot. We wanted to enjoy good food, not necessarily smoke throughout our entire meal. Since we were just having drinks, we asked the owner if we could go inside, and everything went very smoothly. The rest of our visit was a pleasure, with excellent service and great food. Small place, very nice, very good food, owner who found us a table even though it was full, very professional and pleasant waitress, undeniable food quality, flawless, and we highly recommend this place 🙏❤️
