Citizen Coffee sur Rouen

While passing through Rouen, I took a break in this café, friendly and welcoming waitress BUT the café crème or Caffè latte, paid 6.50 euros! A bit expensive...

Honestly, the coffee here is delicious. But why are there no croissants? We are in France, and in this café, not a single croissant? I came with my own croissant, and was told that it was forbidden to bring your own, but no one offered me an alternative. It's very strange. And then… before, the staff here were much more cheerful. Now it feels like employees are bringing all their negativity to work and dumping it on customers.

Great experience! We arrived around 2:10 p.m., and we were still served, which is surprising for a restaurant in France! The dishes were delicious. I took a main course, dessert + drink formula for €16.50. And the quantities are very generous. My friend had the pulled pork burger and I had the citizen burger. The side dish was original, a change from fries. The dessert was very generous and excellent. Chocolate is delicious, better than Nutella. Toasted hazelnuts add a sweet side to French toast. Finally, nothing more to say, we recommend this place which offers interesting menus.

Sandwich of the day was delicious and coffee is good.
