Fast, efficient, and offering very good value for money. The place is cozy, with a friendly and pleasant atmosphere—perfect for a morning coffee. Unfortunately, there were no croissants available, but the staff handled it well by suggesting nearby options, either from a neighboring shop or a bakery. The service is excellent overall, and it’s a traditional French brasserie, even offering oysters on Saturdays 👍

Hello, I'm writing in response to Moussa Diambo's review. That day, I was sitting nearby and saw what happened. Mr. Moussa entered the tobacco shop and started cutting in line, holding up his lottery ticket because he wanted to validate it "urgently." The cashier was fair and asked him not to cut in line, but Mr. Moussa continued to insist. When the cashier refused to serve him, Mr. Moussa started insulting everyone around him, both the tobacco shop staff and the other customers. I know the cashier well; he's fair and friendly with other customers, so I don't think there was any racism involved, but rather a question of fairness.

The greetings are there: hello, goodbye, thank you. Except in the tobacco section, where the cashier is awful. He ignores you for long minutes, doesn't look you in the eye, speaks to you with disdain, and throws lottery tickets at you instead of putting them down. This isn't the first time there have been behavioral problems with this gentleman. The waiter knows his job, is quick, efficient, and friendly compared to other restaurants nearby. Who could really use a reminder of what consideration is! The food is good. The terrace is a plus. It's a good brasserie.

31/05/2026: I ordered a ribeye steak; it was cooked exactly as I wanted, so perfect. However, I have a slight doubt about whether the fries were homemade, but otherwise, it was good overall. I recommend this restaurant.
04/02/2026: A quick meal for a shopping trip with friends. The salads were very generous and their ice cream is truly fabulous, very high quality. Despite the crowds, we were served quickly. A pleasant lunch.

12/06/2026: We wanted Macarons and we got them! Lisa was sooooo nice🥹 10/10 experience ive ever had!! will come again someday 💗 hopefully she is working that day!
12/06/2026: We are from Berlin and came to Versailles to visit the palace. We were running quite late and absolutely needed to buy some macarons to bring back home for our friends and family. Unfortunately, by the time we arrived, all the shops in Paris would already have been closed, and here as well we only arrived shortly before closing time. The next morning, our flight back to Berlin was leaving very early. In other words, this was our last chance to get some macarons. And what can I say? We were not disappointed at all. Lisa was incredibly kind to us and spoke excellent English, which made the shopping experience and her recommendations very enjoyable. We even had time for a bit of small talk. All in all, it was a 10/10 experience! If we are ever in the area again, we would be very happy to come back and hope that Lisa is still there. Warm greetings from Berlin! 😊
