Update after 5 years: I am lowering my rating to 4 stars. Prices have increased, accompanied by a reduction in portions in pastries. Otherwise: Excellent pastry from Metz, an institution. Lots of people in store each time but the products remain excellent and true to their reputation.

We turn a blind eye to certain salons in Metz but we forget that for quality service this is where it happens. And it's always delicious.

Used to other salons in Metz, very surprised in the end by the quality and the much more appreciable welcome at your place. It’s beautiful and it’s good! THANKS

The best bakery in Metz without a doubt A quality of products that cannot be found anywhere else in Metz. Special mention for the Mont Blanc pastry and the Ardéchoise log for the Christmas period!

Quick sweet break was needed and we stumbled upon this place. I had a piece of cheesecake and my partner had a casse noisette. My cheesecake looked very nice but it was made with quark and not a cream cheese. It makes for a much lighter cake, but the creamy goodness is lacking completely. It also has less flavor. Texture also becomes a bit odd. My partners piece was very good though, cannot say nothing bad about it. Now, the price of the cheesecake was 5.20€ and the other piece was 6.20. On the bill my piece was 1€ more expensive and my partners was 1.20€ more expensive. It's probably from eating it there instead of taking it with. I'm not sure it's a good practice as you usually buy a beverage or two with your cakes. 2.20€ extra for dining in.

Beautiful display of savory and sweet pastries. Smiling welcome. Quiche Lorraine among the best I have eaten and pâté Lorraine just as good.

The Bourguignon patisserie is extremely kind. She did not hesitate to exchange a slightly damaged product for me which was quite expensive. I thank her very sincerely and invite the people of Messina to come to this clean and very pleasant store with very friendly staff.
