Magnificent with a very reasonable entrance fee (€7)

This is my second time here and I still find it just as interesting. It's a must-see; I highly recommend it because it has real historical significance.

For history buffs, and if you've seen Ridley Scott's film "The Last Duel" with Matt Damon, the true story of the duel between Jean IV de Carrouge and Jacques le Gris in the 14th century, Jean de Carrouge was the lord of the manor, and beyond that, the castle is magnificent and definitely worth a visit.

Still as beautiful, still as pleasant, I love it

A very beautiful place. The castle and its grounds are exceptionally well-maintained. The hunting room is particularly interesting. You remain immersed in a period atmosphere throughout the visit (unfortunately, there's no guide). It's best visited on a sunny day to fully enjoy the surrounding gardens.
