11/06/2024: Stopping for lunch on our return journey, we got off the highway to avoid any fast food. We had hoped for simple but decent cuisine. The salad which accompanied my salmon tartare as well as my beef carpaccio and my partner's sardine rillettes and flank steak, was not fresh...downright "cooked" by the seasoning of the day before, or even the previous day. the day before...same for the salmon tartare which had not been prepared just before serving...I said nothing as I am not a fan of scandals but we found this unacceptable. It was so visible that even a waiter worthy of the name should have refused to bring such plates...as for the cook, he does not deserve this title. One thing is certain: we would have been less disappointed and scandalized by going to a fast food restaurant... we would not be surprised to discover that one day they had ceased their activity.
