Cokotte sur Angouleme

I had been anticipating a visit to Cokotte for two years and was so delighted to have lunch there on the 28th. The standouts were the Cappuccino Dubarry, which I could have eaten for all three courses, and the caramel mousse, which I could have eaten for three more courses. Soooo good! Even the bread: perfectly crusty (but not too jagged) on the outside, and soft (not dry) on the inside. My lunch made me so happy! And the waitstaff were charming! I hope to come back next year!

Pas mal mais un peu déçue par rapport aux avis qui me mettaient l eau à la bouche. Déco sympa Service sympa mais un chouia trop car un peu surfait (pas suffisamment de chaleur) Lotte trop cuite pour ma part (un peu elastique), girolles et gnochis excellents.es (plat de mon conjoint). Original cependant, c est clair

Cuisine originale avec plats très fins. Le personnel agréable et bravo au chef qui était tout seul en cuisine !!!

A great lunch menu - 22€ for 3 courses. For the main there was a choice of three dishes - a meat dish, a fish choice and a vegetarian. All the food was beautifully presented, cooked to perfection and full of flavour. Great service and a lovely atmosphere.
