Columbus Café & Co Caen sur Caen

The young waitress was absolutely radiant and professional! The sunny terrace, what more could you ask for? What a lovely time!

The atmosphere is really relaxing. The staff is very friendly. We had a good meal; we had a nice brunch and a coffee.

I wanted to share my experience this time. I'm giving it 3 stars because it's not the first time I've had coffee here, and I can't say I've been disappointed before. But last week, on a beautiful sunny day, the terrace was very quiet. I went into the café to ask if I could sit outside just to have a coffee. Two minutes passed before the owner (on her phone) greeted me. She brought me an espresso (which I hadn't ordered), and I asked for a café crème. It was a tasteless café crème, just coffee with milk. Even though I work in the coffee industry, it didn't taste anything like a café crème. Disappointed, I don't know if I'll be back.

We chose this restaurant at random and had a very good meal with my friend (Ocean Salad and Salmon Dane with leek fondue, rice/fries + tarimasu). The service was quick despite the restaurant being busy, and the waitress was always smiling. The prices are very reasonable.
