Vous voulez passer un bon moment ? Allez-y vous ne serez pas déçu ! Je suis allée plusieurs fois même quand il y avait du monde, je n'ai jamais été déçu. Le personnel est toujours souriant et serviable. Je recommande sans hésitations.
My fiancé and I come here fairly often when we’re out and about in Poitiers and it’s usually a pretty reliable spot for a coffee.
After having been so many times, we know what we like and what we don’t, which helps. The coffees are always up to standard (the latté de l’ours is my favourite when I’m looking for a treat!) and their cookies, particularly the dark chocolate chip and fleur de sel cookie, are really nice. We also enjoy their smoothies - nice and fresh!
Their cakes can also be tasty, but sometimes the slices are smaller than other times. The chocolate cake always pulls us in as we’re chocoholics but lacks real chocolate flavour, as it’s most likely made using solely cocoa powder. I wouldn’t go for their muffins either, as they can be quite dry.
The staff are really nice and there’s lots of tables available so you’ll never find yourself in a situation where you can’t sit down or have to wait for a seat.
Overall, if you know what you’re going there to get, you’ll enjoy Columbus every time. If not, you might have a couple of average experiences before finding what works for you.
Nice places located next to Notre-Dame (bus stops nearby (lines 1, 15, 3 etc... and Notre-Dame car park) and Place d'Armes next to the town hall (bus stops: lines 2, 12, 13 etc...) and Carnot parking nearby Coffees, teas, cappuccinos, milkshakes as well as pastries, sandwiches and salads are available.
