If you are ever in Paris, or planning your trip to Paris, please try and get into Le Comptoir. The service, drinks, wine list, and food are all impeccable.

I went because I found it to be the best onion soup in Paris, I can say that of the ones I tried it was one of the tastiest. The Crème brûlée was incredible too. It took them a while to bring the soup, yes, about 30 minutes

For the main course, we indulged in a tender duck confit, served with crispy golden potatoes and a rich, flavorful jus, and savored the hearty goodness of beef bourguignon, simmered slowly in red wine until it's meltingly tender and bursting with flavour. The main highlight is of course its famous foie gras, which is considered among the best in Paris. The restaurant offers a variety of foie gras dishes, including seared foie gras, foie gras terrine, and foie gras ravioli, each one showcasing the luxurious texture and rich flavor of this iconic French delicacy. When served seared, the foie gras is expertly caramelized to perfection, creating a crispy exterior that gives way to a velvety, creamy center. It's a symphony of textures and flavors, with the buttery richness of the foie gras perfectly complemented by the sweet and tangy accompaniments. The foie gras terrine is another standout dish, featuring silky-smooth foie gras delicately layered and infused with a blend of spices and seasonings. Absolutely a must! You come to Paris, do yourself a favor and come and eat in this extraordinary place. Very fine dining indeed

Very busy restaurant but staff are relatively efficient. Love the ravioli. Serves tap water and it is not chargeable. Rain was splattering for some of those seated outside and staff was prompt to shift the affected patrons to shelter, that was a pretty good gesture. Seats inside (except for bar table) seem to be reserved, highly suggest to reserve in advance.

Certainly the best Parisian grocery store. The Foie Gras is exceptional, the Tarama is just delicious, the large Burgundy snails are a treat... and the welcome is really warm. A big crush 🙏

Superb and could not disappoint! From the fabulous service to the delish food and wine. The caviar starter then pan seared fois gras.. ooh La La! Escargot and Bone Marrow cooked to perfection. Such a wonderful experience in Paris and finishing off with cheese and a lovely glass of dessert wine. Merci Vincent to you and your team! We will be back very soon.

Reservation recommended, service was super nice a bit slow but enjoyable. Food was amazing.
