First meal on the terrace this year… windy but pleasant.
Mixed opinion:
- Main course (seafood was quite good, too many whelks for my taste)
- Dessert (Gourmet coffee): really not great… and I have a sweet tooth, but the tastes and textures were completely off = didn't finish it!)
- Excellent service, super friendly waitress!!!
- A bit chilly, but they provided blankets and it's just steps from the beach…
- High price!

We had a wonderful time enjoying our afternoon drinks overlooking the beach. Even in the strong wind, the terrace was well-protected, allowing us to fully appreciate our time there. The beer was delicious, the oysters were fresh, and the charcuterie board was perfect. The service was very friendly and attentive. We highly recommend this place for a pleasant time by the sea.

Unlike most restaurants that, by virtue of their prime tourist location, allow themselves to offer mediocre service, Chez les Tontons has taken a different approach. Beyond the pleasure of being right on the beach, with your feet in the sand, they offer a simple yet refined menu. Everything is excellent, even the desserts are homemade. The prices are very reasonable considering the quality of the food and the setting.
