Contrary to some of the reviews I've read, the welcome was very warm and the service excellent! Very good value for money. We also appreciated the air conditioning during this heatwave.

A huge thank you to Jamal, one of the best servers I've ever seen. He definitely raises the bar at Cosy. If you come to Cosy, try to be served by Jamal; he's welcoming, attentive, professional, and incredibly kind.

The menus are very good and the food is excellent, but unfortunately, I think the service could be improved. Having to ask several different waiters/waitresses to wait almost half an hour for a Perrier was a real challenge. Despite that, the atmosphere is still very pleasant and enjoyable.

The food was okay, the cocktails were so-so, and the service was terrible. An elderly waiter was very pushy; we were just deciding what to order when he told us to leave if we didn't order, notably saying, "We don't accept health insurance cards here" (we'd had our card for two minutes). Finally, when it came time to pay, the place was tiny.

I've been here three times, and the taste has always been decent—the coffee is good, and the location is good too. However, the service has been terrible every time. Once, I waited 20 minutes to pay, and the staff deliberately spoke rudely. Remember to bring cash if you want to buy coffee; otherwise, try the other coffee shops across the street.

05/07/2026: The main advantage of Le Pur Sang is undoubtedly its value for money: €23 at lunchtime for a set menu of starter, main course, and dessert, featuring traditional, homemade, simple, and delicious French cuisine accompanied by a good traditional baguette. The restaurant has recently also opened on Friday and Saturday evenings, offering a set menu of starter, main course, and dessert for €29. For a touch of nostalgia, the building and atmosphere evoke restaurants from the 1960s to 1980s. The large, shaded terrace under the trees is particularly pleasant when the weather is fine. Here are some of the dishes that are offered on a rotating basis: Starters: Terrine, eggs mayonnaise, tomato and mozzarella salad, herring with potatoes in oil. Main Courses: Hang steak with shallots, andouillette sausage, lasagna, calf's head with gribiche sauce, roast chicken. Sauerkraut, fish with beurre blanc sauce Desserts: Chocolate fondant, floating island, fruit tarts, ice cream, cheeses. Everything is simple, generous, and delicious. Please note: The restaurant is sometimes a victim of its own success, serving over 100 covers on some days, which can lead to a wait during peak hours.
10/04/2026: I came for lunch with friends today. The food was simple, traditional, and very good...kudos to the chefs! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Plus, we had lunch on the terrace. It was very pleasant. We will definitely be back.
