Good beer, great view, friendly service, cold beer

I stopped by this morning, January 18th, for breakfast. My sisters and I were warmly welcomed. The waiter was very friendly.

A very friendly welcome, perfect for tea or coffee. We appreciated the peace and quiet and the spaciousness in winter :)

Very nice, lovely bar, and it's been that way for decades. Too bad it's not heated in the evening.

I'm a regular at this bar (I come here almost every week), but I have to admit I'm increasingly disappointed. Every time I visit, we're kicked out well before the official closing time (which is 12:00 AM), often around 10:30 PM. Tonight, there were still about fifteen people spread across four tables when the waiters told us it would close in 30 minutes (two hours before the scheduled time). I imagine some would have probably recommended it... Furthermore, a customer seated next to us at 10:00 PM was put under pressure as soon as he arrived: he was told the bar was closing in 25 minutes. Meanwhile, the staff was already tidying up around us, clearly giving the impression that we were a nuisance. It's a real shame, because the place is very nice... but this lack of business sense completely ruins the experience.

We had breakfast this morning. The €7.50 package includes a hot drink, freshly squeezed orange juice, and a croissant. Everything was delicious, served on a pretty tray.

Super cozy bar with a great atmosphere! The XXL Mama Burrata salad is to die for! Mathieu, the manager, is adorable! He's always smiling and available to customers.
