Cote Sud sur Menton

We went there for dinner and received a very friendly welcome. We were seated at a table for two, just the two of us. Everything was great until the hostess suddenly seated a couple we didn't know at our table. It was fairly busy, but there were several empty tables next to us – admittedly, they were larger tables, but they remained unoccupied until just before we left. It felt really strange sitting at the same table with two strangers. This somewhat spoiled our visit – the couple couldn't have done anything wrong, but they could have at least asked if it was okay with us… this is absolutely not the norm, and no other table in the entire restaurant was simply "shared" like that. I wouldn't have complained if the tables could have been pushed apart, but it was a single, solid tabletop. Nevertheless, the food was really delicious. I would recommend it for that, but the overall experience was unfortunately rather disappointing.

I was a bit disappointed with this experience, especially considering the €102.50 I spent in total for three dishes, a drink, and a bottle of water. The raw fish appetizer was very good, and for the price, I found it to be decent, though I expected a slightly larger portion. The fruit, on the other hand, was of fairly average quality. The worst part was definitely my grilled meat. I had specifically asked for it rare, but most of it arrived practically charred. I was therefore forced to leave about half of it because it was truly inedible. On the other hand, my girlfriend had a grilled fish and really enjoyed it, so it was probably a problem with my portion size. What I was disappointed about was that I only mentioned it at the end of the meal, so they would have had the opportunity to change it, but I preferred not to cause any problems and didn't ask for a re-do. The location is very beautiful and is certainly one of the restaurant's strong points. As for the staff, some were very friendly and helpful, while others seemed a bit listless and inattentive. Overall, I can't say I had a bad meal, but considering the €102.50 price tag, I expected a bit more. The grilled meat, especially because it was cooked completely differently than requested, significantly detracted from the experience.

I had a wonderful time with my family, the service was impeccable, the meal excellent and the atmosphere was great, what surprised me most was that the wait was really not long.

During our stay in Menton, we had a wonderful time. The meals were exceptional and delicious from start to finish. Well done to the whole team! We highly recommend it.

Very good restaurant. The only slight downside was the 45-minute wait, but we hadn't made a reservation. The four-cheese pizza was excellent! I recommend this restaurant (remember to book).

Excellent restaurant by the sea. The pizzas are superb, cooked in a wood-fired oven.

It gets a bit hot in the restaurant during the summer, a few fans would be nice, but otherwise I've been coming for several years and it's always excellent.
