Courcheneige sur Saint-Bon-Tarentaise

Apart from the first class service I have enjoyed for many years staying in Courcheneige, I had an incident on my last trip in March 2024 while skiing. I stayed a night in Albertville Hospital. I was traveling on my own. The support my family in uk and I received from Hotel in particular the hotel manager Mr Yannick Aubry, was second to none. Very much appreciated.

Lovely food great service, pizzas were fantastic and a good price for the area, worth every penny. View is amazing and atmosphere was perfect

Where to start, it could be long 😅…. After a truly catastrophic year for us, we were waiting for our vacation with so much impatience 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 …... We had an idyllic stay, staff who were just extraordinary kind and attentive, a cozy and clean hotel, the rooms are not very big it's true, but weren't they originally made for sleeping 😉, a gargantuan breakfast, half board full of delicate and delicious flavors, amazing pizzas to enjoy on the terrace every lunchtime, the little lounges next to the bar, super nice with a bartender who is just as nice, and I'm probably forgetting lots of things ….. ah but yes, which is increasingly rare, a dog friendly hotel, our little Babou 🐶 was welcomed with open arms, this is THE condition for us, to stay in an establishment on vacation 🥰 …. You will have understood, we returned from our stay on cloud nine, certainly our best year in the 25 years we have been coming to Courchevel ♥️🥰 ……. Thanks again to everyone, including the director who is a humble and friendly person….. In Courchevel, this is not necessarily commonplace 😉 Please stay there, don't change for yet another 5 star where we won't be able to set foot, not everyone wants this condescension seen in all the 5 stars in Courchevel….. 🙏🏼 ……

I met Mr. Pizzaiolo, a monster in his field, excellent pizza, and too cute! 🥰

The rooms are old and small, with outdated decor and low-quality materials, making the space feel cramped. The pervasive smell from the creperie throughout the hotel was very off-putting. The entrance is unusual, requiring navigation through walks and climbs. The food / breakfast is mediocre restaurant service is clumsy. However, the ski room and staff were exceptional. The location directly on the slopes is a a great plus, offering a charming mid-mountain ambiance. The lobby / bar area is also good. There is a need for a shuttle to access the town, not available on Fridays, and the overall value for money left room for a lot of improvement. Hotel could really use a redesign. Despite its excellent location, the hotel's outdated features and lack of comfort affected my stay.
