Othello served us, he was very friendly and addressed us both in English and French. We enjoyed our food and the wine. When we return to Bordeaux in a few weeks we plan to eat here again. Thanks x

10/07/2025: An institution, very good. We know why we go there and we are not disappointed. Special mention for the profiteroles.
09/07/2025: Fun experience. As the reader probably knows, they serve only salad, fries and steak along with a dessert menu and full bar. I really enjoyed this. They open at 7:00 and typically there is a line but it moves quickly once they open. You also get served quickly too. The salad is outstanding (leaf with a light vinaigrette: Perfect for summer). The fries are, well fries. The French always do fries very well. Finally the steak: Its really good. I'm not a huge butter sauce person (would prefer more acidity) but again, the French do meat sauces well and this place is no exception. I highly recommned you go if the opportunity arises.
