The menu is very limited compared to a few years ago. The meal was good, but the wait was disastrous. We arrived at 12:00 PM and were served at 1:15 PM. With two children, we left the restaurant at 2:15 PM. For a quick meal, that's excessively long. We won't be back.

Nice place. Three adults and three children with a bill under 90 euros is more than reasonable. Admittedly, there were three children's meals, and they were happy with their (quite generous) burgers, giving their meals a 9/10. For the adults, a wood-fired andouillette sausage and a gourmet coffee were both excellent. No complaints whatsoever. It was very good.

Back at Courtepaille, I ordered a Quator salad and frankly, I was disappointed. There were a lot of lettuce leaves, two cherry tomatoes cut in half, and the amount of cheese was really small. At €15.20, I think the salad is under-prepared.

Hello, the food was excellent. The only major problem, in my opinion, was the 30-minute wait to be served, which I found a bit excessive. Also, the staff lacked a smile.

We received a warm welcome and were immediately offered a table suitable for our stroller. (They even spontaneously offered to warm up a bottle for our child.) The food was good and the service was quick.

05/09/2026: Overall, a very nice experience! The setting is really lovely, with a very successful and appealing themed decor. I would just point out two minor drawbacks: regarding the children's menu, a slightly larger portion of fries would be welcome. As for the burger, it's a shame not to be able to choose how the meat is cooked. However, I understand that this isn't necessarily the restaurant's specialty, and that certainly won't stop me from coming back to discover and try other dishes. A great experience in a pleasant setting.
22/08/2026: We arrived in Caen today. There's a wide choice of restaurants near the hotel, so we chose this one. We had a Croute Forestiere and a Tartiflette Normane, both very good. The Vercingétorix fondue was disappointing: tasteless boiled potatoes, dry sausage that turned out to be nothing more than salami, and black bread that would have been better if toasted for the cheese fondue, which was very good. The staff were friendly, and the place was beautiful.
