We loved this restaurant; we were very pleasantly surprised by the decor, which is different from other restaurants—absolutely stunning! 🤣 A very good meal for cheese lovers.

We arrived seven of us early and were given a fantastic welcome. Everyone was smiling. Our waiter was absolutely amazing, witty and with a great sense of humor. We were so happy! The food was really good and plentiful... well done, guys!

A loyal customer for over 20 years (back when it was downtown, it makes us feel old!), and never disappointed. The welcome is always top-notch thanks to a simply incredible owner—don't change a thing! The service is quick, the restaurant is spotless, and the food is a pure delight. As for the portions, they're incredibly generous: honestly, if you leave here still hungry, you seriously need to see a doctor or rethink your usual portion sizes. The ultimate cheese lover's paradise in Mondeville. We'll be back without hesitation!

Overall, a very nice experience! The setting is really lovely, with a very successful and appealing themed decor. I would just point out two minor drawbacks: regarding the children's menu, a slightly larger portion of fries would be welcome. As for the burger, it's a shame not to be able to choose how the meat is cooked. However, I understand that this isn't necessarily the restaurant's specialty, and that certainly won't stop me from coming back to discover and try other dishes. A great experience in a pleasant setting.

We arrived in Caen today. There's a wide choice of restaurants near the hotel, so we chose this one. We had a Croute Forestiere and a Tartiflette Normane, both very good. The Vercingétorix fondue was disappointing: tasteless boiled potatoes, dry sausage that turned out to be nothing more than salami, and black bread that would have been better if toasted for the cheese fondue, which was very good. The staff were friendly, and the place was beautiful.

This was my first time eating at Maître Corbeau, and my meal was rather mixed, despite an overall good experience. I ordered the turkey escalope with Camembert sauce. Taste-wise, it was very good, with high-quality ingredients. One small drawback, however: the turkey breast was quite tough. The fries, on the other hand, were truly excellent. The major negative point of my meal was finding a piece of steel wool (used for washing dishes) in my sauce. This definitely put me off a bit. Fortunately, the server was very responsive, apologized, and immediately replaced the dish. The owner also came to apologize and offered me a complimentary drink, which I appreciated. I remain understanding nonetheless: mistakes happen, and above all, the team reacted quickly and appropriately to the problem. For a second impression, I'd love to try their fondue, which looks so tempting! 😋 And a little tip for foodies: their foie gras is excellent! 👌 Overall, a somewhat mixed first experience due to this unfortunate incident, but the meal was generally very good and the staff handled the situation well. I'll gladly return to give it another try.

Having been to the restaurant in downtown Caen, my son and I had a delicious fondue there for lunch today! As always, excellent, a very warm welcome, and attentive service. We'll be back! The Alençon residents from Sarthe

The restaurant and staff were very pleasant. Gwen was very smiley. A nice little touch for our wedding anniversary (a small candle on the dessert) was lovely. ☺️
