While in Clermont-Ferrand for work, I had the opportunity to have lunch at La Parenthèse. The owner gave me a very warm welcome, and the entire team was exceptionally friendly. The menu is concise, offering high-quality dishes, and the meal ended on a delightful sweet note with excellent desserts. It's an address to keep in mind for my next visit. I highly recommend it!

Lunch for the ASM/Aviron Bayonnais match. The food was excellent, the meat was superb and the portions generous, and the dessert was homemade. The welcome was very warm, the waitress was lovely, and they offered us a complimentary coffee – not obligatory, but a nice little touch. We will be back.

We were in town for a Rugby match and this little gem is tucked away near the Stadium. Excellent food and service. Lovely waitress, great atmosphere and friendly locals who coped with our poor French admirably. We had a delicious meal in good company. Highly recommend this place.

On a business trip to Clermont-Ferrand, La Parenthèse was one of the only restaurants open in the evening near my hotel. I went without any preconceived notions, and ended up going back the next day. The staff is friendly and welcoming, the wine list is excellent, and the carpaccio is to die for. The food is superb; I highly recommend it!
