A very pleasant restaurant. A warm, friendly, and genuine welcome... Delicious and generous cuisine... Somewhere between fake crêperies and superficial snack bars... I sincerely recommend this establishment; it's a Dinan institution.

Absolutely excellent! A very warm welcome, fresh and expertly prepared ingredients, and despite the generous portions, you don't feel heavy after your meal. I highly recommend this restaurant for a truly delightful experience!

My partner and I had dinner at this restaurant. We ordered the royal couscous, which was excellent—the taste, the cooking, and the portion size were all perfect. A truly comforting meal. The server was welcoming and attentive. We highly recommend it and will gladly return. Thank you so much.

08/06/2026: Our hiking group had a wonderful evening at the Saint Louis. The welcome was very warm and the service impeccable. The homemade dishes were delicious. Excellent value for money for a Saturday night! We highly recommend your establishment.
01/06/2026: Passing through the region (we were staying in Dinard), we were determined to avoid tourist traps and find a good local spot. We drove to Dinan to try Le Saint-Louis, and what a delight: we weren't disappointed at all! We had a fantastic meal. The three-course menu offers high-quality ingredients at a very reasonable price. The atmosphere is both warm and cozy, and the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. A perfect score for us Belgians! We highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking for authentic, high-quality food.

22/07/2026: Don’t believe everything AI tells you. It recommended this restaurant as the number one choice for fish and seafood, but it also incorrectly said that it wouldn’t be open until Thursday (today is Tuesday). Fortunately, we hadn’t chosen either of the other two restaurants it recommended, so we continued along Rue du Quai until we came across Auberge des Terre-Neuvas. To our surprise, we found that it was actually open. For our starter, we ordered shrimp with a mustard sauce, followed by octopus as the main course. The food was delicious. The octopus was perfectly cooked—tender and served with a flavorful side dish. The dessert (ice cream) and wine were excellent as well. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and happy to help us translate the menu. However, unlike in many restaurants in France, they didn’t automatically offer us tap water. Instead, we ordered a bottle of water, which we had to pay for. Overall, we had a very enjoyable dining experience and would happily recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for excellent seafood in Dinan.
