Kindness as a bonus and delicious couscous.

August 26, 2026, at noon Thank you, Chef, for this delicious Royal Couscous, which truly lives up to its name. A marvel of flavors, aroma, quality, and quantity: fine, supple, and piping hot semolina, a perfect broth, perfectly cooked pieces of meat (lamb, chicken), a tender, slightly pink but piping hot kebab, and a wonderfully flavorful merguez sausage. I never tire of this couscous restaurant. The owner/chef is incredibly welcoming, down-to-earth, and friendly. It's not a big establishment, but it's so pleasant to have lunch in a typical, pleasant, and clean setting. It's always a delight. For couscous lovers, go there; you won't regret it. Passing through for the day, after being turned away from three local crêperies because we were a group of nine with children, we stumbled upon Tipazza... no regrets about the others refusing us. Tipazza welcomed us with their warm, big smiles. Excellent welcome, excellent service, and the food was delicious. A shout-out from Réunion (974), on holiday in Dinan!

We visited Dinan as a family today. Despite the sweltering heat, the bustling town, and the seemingly endless number of unwelcoming crêperies, we were delighted to receive such a warm welcome. The lamb tagine was simply excellent. Thank you for your kindness, your hospitality, and for the lovely time we spent at your place.
