14/07/2026: Passing through Dinan on the evening of July 14th, Be New is truly an excellent place. Fast service, very friendly welcome. Very, very good farm cider and delicious galettes and crêpes.

15/07/2026: A nice surprise. Stopped for lunch, which was excellent - all three courses. Walked by and saw the chalk-board menu, the Gault-et-Millau 2025, and the bright white tablecloths - all set for lunch. Meal was perfectly presented, well proportioned, and well served. Very nice wine list to choose from - glass or bottle. Highly recommend you enjoy a meal here. We will return!

09/07/2026: A wonderful discovery! Fresh, organic produce! They offer a different menu each day, along with tried-and-true favorites like their excellent Caesar salad. Special mention goes to the chilled zucchini soup: a real treat!

I ordered the beef option; it looked like a creamy couscous with cheese and it was incredible. Congratulations to the chef! Delicious food, the place is easy to find, the service is outstanding. 21/07/2026: I've never eaten such delicious savory crepes! Every ingredient is perfectly showcased, with subtle and balanced flavors. The salted caramel crepe was simply excellent. The staff is incredibly welcoming, friendly, and warm. I highly recommend this place; you won't be disappointed!

04/07/2026: A wonderful discovery. A gourmet menu at very affordable prices. The dishes were delicious and the service impeccable. The chef clearly enjoys delighting our palates. We have very fond memories of our visit, especially since the town of Dinan is also well worth a visit.

As for the food, the dishes are delicious with original touches. Moreover, for a weekday menu, the portions are generous. A great find and we will gladly return.

07/07/2026: Everything was perfect, from beginning to end... or so we thought. The meal was excellent, the service impeccable, and we were ready to leave with wonderful memories. When it came time to pay the bill, my partner even left a tip. As we were leaving the restaurant, the man at the counter (whom I believe to be one of the two owners) said to us, with a very flirtatious smile, "And not too much mischief tonight..." This remark made us deeply uncomfortable. We didn't understand its meaning at the time, then we realized the innuendo it implied. We find it completely inappropriate and out of line. We simply came to enjoy a pleasant evening as a couple, not to be the subject of sexual innuendo. What's most disturbing is that we did absolutely nothing to warrant such a comment. We simply enjoyed a peaceful dinner. Hearing this kind of comment from a manager is unacceptable and has no place in an establishment open to the public. It's all the more regrettable because everything else was perfect. Unfortunately, this remark completely ruined our experience, and it's how we'll remember the evening.

23/07/2026: Everything was perfect. Great pancakes, both savory and sweet. Friendly service, even though we arrived just before closing time, no one pressured us or threw us out.

27/07/2026: We made a reservation using a Romantic Tables gift box, which specified a "Duguesclin menu" including a glass of champagne, starter, main course, and dessert (as stated on the box's website). The waiter told us we were entitled to a two-course menu, either a starter and main course or a main course and dessert, with a glass of wine. I informed him of the menu's specifications, but he insisted that was not the case. We asked to upgrade to the Duguesclin menu, paying the difference, but this was refused. However, he did allow us to order a bottle of wine instead of two glasses. The background music was a bit loud (due to the low ceiling), making conversation difficult, so we asked for it to be turned down. The waiter did so, but only slightly. The main courses and desserts were refined and very well prepared. It was a shame about the customer service aspect; a little less assertiveness and a clearer understanding of what the gift box offers would be appreciated. Thank you and have a good day.
