Very good restaurant! The cuisine is incredible, we ate very well from the starter to the last cocktail. As for the service, very pleasant. Everything was going well until the moment of settling the bill where we encountered a very unpleasant situation. No indication related to tipping had been mentioned, so the waiter keeps the change and only deducts half of the amount given in cash. Although we are used to being offered the amount of the tip, this time nothing was discussed the waiter “thought” that he could take half the amount given in cash. However, we had clearly specified that we “pay first in cash then the rest by card”.

There is so much to say about Chef Snjay Dwivedi behind Coya! He earned a Michelin star for the first Indian restaurant in London (Zaika), fell in love with Peruvian cuisine and developed Coya as a franchise in 8 cities around the world. He was even a conductor for the Rolling Stones during one of their tours! The restaurant is almost difficult to find, you have to take a nice little passage (aptly named “Beaupassage”). Although the interior design of the restaurant is beautiful, the weather is warm, and it's lunch time, so we opt for the terrace. It's a beautiful cocoon place (you can't see it from the street) formed by two nicely renovated white buildings. We had some hesitations about the restaurant because of the 3.8 rating on Google Maps at the time. They quickly disappeared. We treated ourselves to 4 mezze style dishes. While ordering, we saw on the next table the guacamole being prepared in front of the customers (chopped in a stone bowl), one of their specialties. It's a treat, perfectly seasoned. We accompany it with mini salmon tacos (small but delicious), and a Chilcano de Pisco cocktail (a Peruvian grape liqueur). We love all of our dishes: Spicy Tomatoes, Roasted Octopus, Spicy Barbecue Beef Filet, with a special mention for the Albacore Tuna Tiradito (tuna ceviche) with chimichurri (a refreshing sauce made from several thinly sliced ​​vegetables and herbs); the tuna was barely grilled and served in a delicious mustard sauce. For dessert, we have their specialty, Churros; you dip them in a sauce of dulce de leche (dairy jam) and orange zest served in a specially designed pot. So good, double ration! All the staff were super friendly. It was our second visit, and same happiness! With cocktail, beer, mineral water, coffee and 4 dishes each, we paid 131 Euros per person. Disorienting! I loved ! It feels like you're out of time. Both the cocktails and the dishes are excellent and fine. Smiling and very attentive staff. Too bad all the same, when the DJ arrived it was difficult for us to discuss and get along. Music way too loud.

I would really like to know who are all these people who leave bad reviews about this restaurant🤔😁. Great food, wonderful, impeccable service, very atmospheric. We had a great evening. It's been a long time since we've been served food so quickly in France. I've been to Peru and I love Peruvian food. It has Peruvian cuisine with a French accent, which adds some sophistication to it.

It was very good, but you don't have to be hungry, because the quantities are rather minimal.
