Had a really good rump steak with pepper sauce, chips and salad. This was March 2026, so a very quiet period. Service was great and proprietor was very helpful. I knew of his reputation but feel that if you are reasonable then he will be very accommodating. The place is very cosy with a fire burning in the fireplace.

Disappointed with the dishes we ordered: the savory buckwheat galette was tiny and very thin, the apple crepe was undercooked and also very thin, and the salted caramel wasn't tasty. My wife had a €16 set menu, and I think she had more than I did. The Breton kir was good, and an espresso cost €55. 😏
The owner uses the informal "tu" form... I find that inappropriate. The young woman who served us was efficient and polite.

Excellent welcome, excellent meal. We appreciated the chef's professionalism; knowing my husband was allergic to butter, he consistently ensured that the dishes he ordered were suitable.

Lunch on February 24th, my second visit in two years. The dishes were generous and excellent.
I highly recommend the Irish Coffee, prepared right in front of you with the whiskey flambéed, and at a very reasonable price.

Thank you to the lovely owners for helping us find accommodation when everything else was booked. I enjoyed some delicious homemade fish and chips. The fries were perfect, especially for me, being Belgian. We will gladly return on our next trip.
