Excellent crêperie, I've been going there for several years. Very friendly welcome, great atmosphere, and attentive staff. Reasonable prices, and the food is delicious. I highly recommend it.

The welcome was a bit cold, and we were seated at a table between the door and the open kitchen, so we were in a draft. It was very cold that day, which wasn't particularly pleasant. The galettes (savory buckwheat crepes) are simple and good; we each ordered two savory and one sweet. We'll have to go back in the summer to see the difference.

Second time we stopped here. The meal was very good with a very friendly welcome. We ate by the fireplace. No complaints. First time August 2022: We were very well received and served. Good meal.

Fantastic crêperie! The galettes are excellent and the staff very friendly. The aperitif is served in unique glasses, which adds to the local color and magic of the town.

Good value for money. Having read the reviews before coming for dinner, I was worried about meeting the owner. 🤣🤣 Pleasantly surprised, because frankly, even though he speaks a bit curtly, I was expecting worse. He seems like a character with a strong personality, but nothing too bad. We had a great time at this restaurant with friends.

03/01/2026: A culinary experience I would describe as sumptuous! Located in the heart of Rochefort-en-Terre, this charming little town, the L'Ancolie restaurant offers a truly pleasant and luxurious setting, perfectly in keeping with the establishment's prestige. The meal was simply perfect, with refined flavors that fully justify the excellent value for money for this category of restaurant. The only significant drawback was the wait between courses. We spent nearly five hours at the table, which, despite the quality of the food, might be a bit long for some diners. On a practical note, I appreciated the fact that restaurant vouchers were accepted (at least during my visit in 2023). For parking, plan to use the nearby paid parking lots, as the area is very popular with tourists. This is a must-visit for food lovers, provided you have plenty of time to fully savor the experience.

14/12/2025: Excellent value for money! Simple and delicious cuisine! While some restaurant owners in Rochefort are unpleasant when you try to book a table, claiming they know they'll be full... at Au Freine le Temps, our reservation was accepted 15 days in advance, allowing us to come and enjoy the Christmas lights without any worries. ☺️ We received a very warm welcome; if you're looking for a friendly atmosphere, this is the place to be.
23/11/2025: An authentic place to try typical food, absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced! We ordered the set menus and loved them! The portions are generous, featuring local ingredients! The girl who served us was incredibly kind and attentive! They even served us around 2:00 PM (in the town center, they wouldn't serve us at that hour), so we're very grateful! We would definitely return to this place!
