We received a very warm welcome at this small restaurant. The homemade food was delicious and very reasonably priced for a starter, main course, and dessert. The staff were excellent—friendly, cheerful, and helpful. We'll be back!

We had a very good lunch outside; there were two adults and two children. The service was excellent, and the mussels were very good (they could have used a little more cream 😌). Don't hesitate to try the tarte tatin; it's absolutely delicious!

We highly recommend this restaurant. The welcome was warm, and the food we tasted was delicious. Contrary to what we've read, we were served promptly and pleasantly. The best part was the excellent value for money for the set menu. Thank you.

Had a really good rump steak with pepper sauce, chips and salad. This was March 2026, so a very quiet period. Service was great and proprietor was very helpful. I knew of his reputation but feel that if you are reasonable then he will be very accommodating. The place is very cosy with a fire burning in the fireplace.

19/04/2026: We had a lovely time, arriving late Saturday evening for a last drink. We were greeted with smiles and a great atmosphere, including a guitar available for our use, so we returned the next day for lunch. The set menu (starter, main course, dessert) was simple, efficient, and very good. The meats were cooked to perfection—tender and flavorful—and the Mourvèdre wine was excellent. Thank you to Nath and Delphine for their rock 'n' roll and friendly service! We will definitely be back to Freiner le temps with great pleasure.
29/03/2026: A superb experience! A very warm welcome, and especially a great welcome for dogs! I highly recommend it. And above all, excellent value for money. The meat was cooked perfectly and was incredibly tender. I will definitely be back. The Sunday work team
