Creperie la Falaise sur Vierville-Sur-Mer

01/03/2024: My wife and I visited in May of 2023 and we loved it. The room was well put together, comfortable and CLEAN. The staff were very kind and helpful. We slept with the windows open all night and the sound of the ocean at night was really different. The coffee and chocolate chip croissants I had for breakfast went perfect with the sound and smell of the ocean and warm sun on the patio. We ate dinner at the restaurant every night, trying something different every night. The bucket of mussels in cream sauce... so good. We used this as our home base as we explored the ww2 battlefields and history. The area is very somber. Not depressing, but people go here to remember the sacrifice that was made and the staff at the hotel realize this and are very respectful of people's feelings and don't bother you if you're sitting quietly on the patio. We're planning on staying here on our next trip. Also if you like dogs the owner has a great big ol' Burmese mountain dog named Omaha that will let you pet it till your arm falls off.
