Hotel du Casino sur Vierville-Sur-Mer

My wife and I visited in May of 2023 and we loved it. The room was well put together, comfortable and CLEAN. The staff were very kind and helpful. We slept with the windows open all night and the sound of the ocean at night was really different. The coffee and chocolate chip croissants I had for breakfast went perfect with the sound and smell of the ocean and warm sun on the patio. We ate dinner at the restaurant every night, trying something different every night. The bucket of mussels in cream sauce... so good. We used this as our home base as we explored the ww2 battlefields and history. The area is very somber. Not depressing, but people go here to remember the sacrifice that was made and the staff at the hotel realize this and are very respectful of people's feelings and don't bother you if you're sitting quietly on the patio. We're planning on staying here on our next trip. Also if you like dogs the owner has a great big ol' Burmese mountain dog named Omaha that will let you pet it till your arm falls off.

How nice it is to eat at the brasserie, it's very good, with a sea view and a very pleasant little waitress, very smiling. This must be the 4th time we've been there.

We stopped to taste mussels with cheese and marinière, it was a treat. At the top the service and the staff were super friendly the prices correct we will come back the gourmet coffee a delight the snow egg well served

Charming restaurant, with great view. Ate well. Only problem, when it's time it's time if it's past time, well it's past time. Before the hour the reception is not great, but during the hour everything is perfectly pleasant without any problem. We were a little shocked to see people say that after 8:30 p.m. they are no longer used. So come between service hours and everything goes great!
