We returned to the city solely for this creperie, which we had spotted during our first visit and we were not disappointed. The menu has a lot of choice, the products are fresh, the dishes well cooked. The prices are perhaps a little high for a creperie, but you don't eat at a restaurateur who has the title of master creperie every day, so I recommend stopping by if you have the chance.

La Frégate occupe le rez de chaussée d'une belle demeure du 16e siècle, typique de la petite cité du Faou. Le maître restaurateur aux commandes de l'établissement a gagné plusieurs prix. Ses crêpes sont recommandées par de nombreux guides (Petit Futé, Routard). La carte n'est pas très étoffée car il travaille avec des produits de saison. Les crêpes sont moelleuses, bien beurrées, savoureuses. Et à peine plus chères que dans une crêperie lambda. Un service un peu expéditif, qui manquait de convivialité; mais il semblait y avoir un manque de personnel ce soir là. Une adresse à retenir pour les amateurs de gastronomie et de raffinement. Réservation conseillée.

La Frégate occupies the ground floor of a beautiful 16th century residence, typical of the small town of Faou. The master restaurateur at the helm of the establishment has won several awards. Its pancakes are recommended by many guides (Petit Futé, Routard). The menu is not very extensive because he works with seasonal products. The pancakes are soft, well buttered, tasty. This famous creperie fully deserves its reputation. The pancakes are generously filled with fresh, quality ingredients, while the sweet crepes are simply divine. Passing through for the morning, we had the chance to eat in this beautiful and good creperie. There was one table left!
The crepes are excellent. Everything is done in the moment. The raw materials are local and seasonal.
We had a blast.

The crepes are absolutely delicious, we feel that we are using quality products, prepared with care. We leave the table completely full but with the desire to do it again!
The service is shy but warm, concerned about our satisfaction.

The lady of this delightful creperie was welcoming as soon as we arrived. The atmosphere was typical of a Breton creperie but tables set apart, not crammed upon each other. Nothing was rushed and despite being the only server, the lady was always calm, polite and friendly. The crepes we chose were la foriestier and saucisse with ble noir. I have eaten crepes in many creperies, but this was, by far, the best. We finished with crepe oozing with caramel - mouth wateringly delicious!! With a beer and then hot drinks each, we paid €50 including a tip. Great value. Merci a madam et monsieur.
