While cycling through Chartres, we stopped at La Picoterie. The welcome was warm and attentive, the portions were generous, and the service was quick. One of us eats gluten-free, and the staff perfectly accommodated her dietary needs.

Fantastic welcome at the crêperie, lots of humor and friendliness from the servers: every customer is well received, given helpful directions, and everyone does their best to ensure customer satisfaction. It's quite exceptional. The galettes and crêpes were good, and we were served quickly. But really, the rating is for the staff: well done!

What an excellent crêperie, not in Brittany but in Chartres, just steps from the cathedral. A friendly and humorous team, a huge selection of delicious crêpes. I recommend the Doreuse for dessert – it's fantastic!
