Crêperie l'Armorique sur Vincennes

We came as a group of three for lunch today. The galettes and crêpes were good, and the terrace was very pleasant on this mild late September day. The prices were a bit high (for example, a salted caramel crêpe was €11 on the menu), but I gladly accepted it given the quality of the food and, above all, to support our local Vincennes businesses. The experience was good until the checkout. I simply asked for clarification on the bill, politely and without arguing. The exchange lasted 15 seconds. The woman who took my payment replied curtly, with a hint of condescension and a palpable impatience, which I really didn't appreciate and which has no place in front of a customer. When I then wanted to pay in two installments (my daily meal voucher limit was €25 and the remaining €31 by credit card), she said, "€25, I suppose?!" The rather cold tone of the comment (perhaps unintentional, but still unpleasant) left a bitter taste in my mouth as I left the restaurant. After paying, I left, thanking the staff and saying a polite goodbye. I had been there a few years ago and had generally had a good memory of the establishment, but I remembered something that had bothered me back then, though I couldn't quite put my finger on it. It was the way they sometimes speak to customers. For me, the welcome and friendliness of the restaurant owner are just as important as the food itself. That's why I wanted to share my opinion, and not in an extreme way, as the experience was somewhat spoiled at the moment of departure. I think the way they speak to customers could be improved to truly enhance this establishment.
