We randomly chose this restaurant in Argelès, and frankly, it was a fantastic find! The decor was lovely, the staff very welcoming, the food excellent—pizza, meat, and burgers—and the prices very reasonable.
And the icing on the cake was that we got the most cheerful, kindest, and most pleasant waiter—very professional, witty, and helpful... It was Babacar, also known as Baba. And of course, there's also his brother Modou, who is just as lovely.
The owner is also very kind.
In short, you can go there without hesitation, both for the food and the friendly atmosphere.

We tried five restaurants during our vacation, filtering them beforehand on Google based on reviews of 4.5 stars or more, and we were disappointed all five times. We stumbled upon Becassine by chance, and frankly, they don't deserve their 3.2 stars. Everything was perfect for us, and Babacar (the owner, I think) is really friendly!

It's a pleasure to have such motivated and smiling servers. Add to that a delicious meal, and you have the perfect combination for a great rating and to make customers want to come back. The owner has chosen his team well. I highly recommend this place.

A superb restaurant with a very nice menu.
The prices are reasonable, and the portions are generous.
And I'm also giving 5 stars to the waiter Babacar, who is, in my opinion, the best waiter of the year. Quick, efficient, attentive, and always smiling. Thank you for this experience.
