Crêperie Saint Sauveur sur Auray

Cette crêperie est à l'abri du vacarme présent sur le petit port breton de Saint-Goustan, à Auray, dans le Morbihan. On y trouve des galettes et des crêpes superbement cuisinées par une Cheffe créatrice qui sort de l'ordinaire et qui bouillonne d'idées novatrices ne serait-ce que pour revisiter les classiques du terroir comme la fameuse galette-saucisse qui devient une véritable oeuvre d'art entre les mains de cette Maître-Restauratrice qu'est Aurore Bessy. Elle a mille autres secrets et c'est à vous de partir les découvrir. Accueil formidable, belle Table et superbes assiettes, dans un cadre exceptionnel avec une terrasse qui n'est pas sans nous rappeler Montmartre. Un grand bravo également à Erwan Bessy (son mari) et à toute l'équipe formidable. A découvrir absolument !

Today we spent the day at the charming little village of Aurey and we stopped at this crêperie for lunch, as per recommendation of a family member who lives in town. We didn’t have a reservation and despite the place being rather busy and very tiny, they found us a table on the terrace and accommodated us and our dog. We started with two glasses of an 7-year-aged apéritif pommeau. It was so good that we ended up buying a bottle to bring home. As a main, we had two galette. The first one was with roasted leeks, smoked salmon and orange butter. The second one had turnip purée, and low-temperature-cooked chicken. Both were honestly delicious, well cooked, well seasoned, smart, balanced and very elegant. Flavor combinations beyond what one expects at a crêperie. For dessert, we had two crêpes sucrées. One with baked apples, salted butter toffee, and vanilla ice cream. The second one with Camembert AOP, salted caramel, pistachios and walnuts. Once again, both were excellent and we were blown away. Honestly, we’ve been on a camper-van road-trip in Bretagne for more than 10 days and we’ve had galettes everywhere. These were the best crêpes we’ve had so far, by far. Delicious food, great atmosphere, and amazing service. Kudos to the team!

Simply excellent, classic pancakes... but above all pancakes that you can't find elsewhere, full of finesse. An address not to be missed if you are in the area.

Very original choices, incredible flavors that go perfectly well together. First time we have eaten so well in a creperie. It was excellent from start to finish. We will come back to it when we return to the area. Be careful to book carefully because there are a lot of people!

Petite crêperie pleine de charme. Accueil et service très sympathique. Crêpes excellentes surtout la caramel beurre salée un régal pour le dessert.
