Crépuscule sur Martel

Even before the restaurant opened, simply by passing by during our visit to Martel, we decided that this was where we would eat one evening... and unsurprisingly, it was a superb idea! The menu featuring regional products and homemade dishes won us over! It was delicious, the atmosphere excellent, the servers very professional, and the owner very approachable! We ate very well, and it will be our pleasure to return if we are ever in the area again! Don't hesitate! A family from Calais...

A very warm and friendly welcome. The owner recommended the cassoulet, which we were so glad we ordered – it was simply excellent and generous: well done and thank you to the cooks! The duck confit was delicious, the meat flavorful, and the potatoes perfectly seasoned and meltingly tender. The Quercy salad was very good, with a delightful, slightly honeyed dressing. The desserts were also excellent: a salted caramel crêpe, the daily walnut and almond tart, and the crème brûlée. We thoroughly enjoyed the hearty dishes and had a very pleasant time in a lovely setting opposite the Martel market hall.

The setting is very pleasant. The crepes are good and quite generous. We appreciated the owner's humor at first, but it gets a bit tiresome after a while.

We had a wonderful lunch today, a warm welcome and exquisite food! We'll be back!
