18/05/2026: We stopped at this restaurant because all the other restaurants on the beach were full. We were able to enjoy a meal on the terrace.
The service was a little slow, but we had been warned beforehand.
The portions were quite generous and very good.
18/05/2026: Restaurant with a shaded terrace on a medieval-style square in the heart of Martel. The service is excellent and friendly, as is the food; I highly recommend it.

25/05/2026: Two days of pure bliss at Domaine des Falaises. Everything was beautiful: the setting, the garden, the pool. Our room was a true haven, clean and comfortable. We could hear the neighbors a little, but it didn't bother us at all.
And the restaurant... wow! A small menu, but all dishes executed to perfection. A feast for the eyes and the palate. A huge thank you to the chef and the entire team. We left with only one desire: to return soon.

The meal was excellent, plentiful, and very reasonably priced. Thank you for the delicious food.
03/05/2026: We were looking for a restaurant on the road at 8:30 pm on a May Day weekend. We stopped at Sans Lys and it was really excellent. My partner had a very generous gizzard salad, and I had a very tender duck breast with delicious baby vegetables and melt-in-your-mouth new potatoes. Absolutely fantastic! A great place with very reasonable prices.

06/05/2026: We received a very warm welcome. We explored Martel on foot, leaving our car in the hotel parking lot. Our room for three adults was spacious, functional, and clean, with quality bedding. The breakfast was generous, and we hope to enjoy the restaurant again sometime. We wish your chef a speedy recovery and all the best. Thank you for your advice on visiting the Padirac Cave. Kind regards.

The room was clean. The beds were comfortable.
The owner was very friendly when he served us breakfast.

10/05/2026: A very pleasant surprise! The room was lovely with high-quality amenities, excellent bedding, and a spacious, very functional bathroom.
Perfect location above the restaurant.
The restaurant boasts a superb wine selection, with excellent advice from the owner, who is also a winemaker, and his team in the dining room.
Great atmosphere and original dishes. The chocolate dessert was exceptional.
We'll be back!
10/05/2026: Passing through Martel for the weekend, we discovered Le Petit Moulin, a restaurant offering refined and flavorful cuisine. We received a warm welcome, and interacting with the staff was very natural; we immediately felt like friends coming to enjoy a meal. Thank you to the entire team and the chef. It was delicious!

27/05/2026: It's noon, I've just cycled over 60 km, I'm out of water in my bottle, it's over 30 degrees... and I still have a long hill to climb... Thanks boss for agreeing to refill my bottle and saying, "You know, I'm not obligated."
27/05/2026: Avoid this place! It's a rip-off. During our bike ride in the sweltering heat, we asked for some tap water for a bottle! The friendly gentleman at the bar replied: "It's not mandatory!" I'm speechless at such generosity!
Moral of the story: go have your drink somewhere else 😡

21/08/2024: Personnel agréable, cadre sympa en revanche attente très très longue pour passer commande et être servie, pourtant nous étions peu nombreux dans la salle. Un peu déçu par les galettes qui sont peu garnis et les desserts sans intérêts rien de local.
19/08/2024: Une nouvelle soirée en famille à la crêperie et toujours un super accueil entre professionnalisme et simplicité. Les femmes de l’ombre derrière les fourneaux sont humbles mais surtout d’excellentes cuisinières avec cette touche de créativité sur les assiettes.
Les serveuses sont toujours disponibles et en partant vous pouvez déguster un rhum arrangé… offert

Restaurant Le Relais Sainte Anne

27/08/2025: We had a wonderful week at Relais Sainte Anne. The place is authentic and full of charm, the cottage is comfortable and very well equipped. The swimming pool is a real bonus for soaking up the sun and cooling off. A big thank you to Séverine and Didier for their warm welcome and helpfulness. Martel is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful villages in the Lot region, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
24/08/2025: A fantastic stay with friends in a wonderful setting.
We stayed at the Cottage, a charming and comfortable accommodation with beautiful bedrooms and a lovely terrace.
The estate's gardens are magnificent, and we thoroughly enjoyed swimming in the pool in such a beautiful setting.
The location is ideal, allowing you to explore the pretty village of Martel on foot, an excellent starting point for discovering the magnificent historical and natural heritage of the Dordogne Valley.
Finally, we received a very warm welcome from our hosts, who were incredibly attentive to our needs.

11/12/2024: There were 4 of us and we had the chance to have lunch there on the terrace on a market day. Perfect welcome, generous dishes, tasty pancakes all for a more than reasonable price. Family teamwork that seems to work perfectly. Don't change anything, good luck to you!
06/11/2024: Everything is said through the deserved stars, a staff at the height perfectly mastering the friendly active service if all our young people had this great ambition of an attractive profession certainly difficult but so rewarding thank you to them from campervans

08/04/2026: Traveling for business, I was able to book a room at 8:00 PM on the spot. A very warm welcome from a lady who puts a smile on your face.
The room is beautifully renovated and very comfortable.
I would love to return with my wife to this lovely little corner of the Lot region.

15/07/2024: C'est la 3eme année que nous nous rendons à Martel pour le festival de bandas et 3eme fois que nous déjeunons au Martel'li .
Rien n'a changé les pizzas sont très copieuses et très bonnes à prix très correct .
La serveuse est très efficace et agréable nous recommandons vivement ce lieu .
10/07/2024: Les commentaires disaient vrais. De bons conseils, la serveuse a su m'orienter sur la pizza qui me correspondait. Très bonne pizza, une Quercynoise, une calzone et une paysanne. EXCELLENT
